We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Permanent Cleaning Operative to join our team at a site in Acton. This role involves maintaining cleanliness and hygiene across various areas within the facility, ensuring a safe and sanitary environment. The position is suitable for individuals who are proactive, detail-oriented, and committed to high standards of cleanliness. The role is available to start tonight, 24th of September 2026.
Shift: Monday – Friday from 5:00 PM – 7:00 PM
Hours: 2 hours per day / 10 hours per week
Rate: £14.50 per hours
Location: W3 – Acton
Main areas: 2 laboratories, 3 offices, Corridor, 2 toilets + 1 shower, Kitchen, Stairs
Responsibilities
- Clean laboratory floors and high-touch non-clinical surfaces to ensure a hygienic environment.
- Empty bins regularly and perform detailed mopping of laboratory areas.
- Dust and wipe surfaces in laboratories, offices, corridors, toilets, showers, kitchens, and stairs.
- Maintain cleanliness in designated areas including laboratories, offices, toilets, shower rooms, kitchens, and staircases.
- Ensure all cleaning duties are completed efficiently within the scheduled shift times.
Requirements
- Previous experience in cleaning is mandatory.
- Ability to work independently with attention to detail.
- Reliable and punctual with good time management skills.
- Comfortable working during the specified hours from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM, Monday through Friday.
- Physical ability to perform cleaning tasks including mopping, dusting, and lifting bins.
